Another optimal carb:protein ratio post-workout snack! More on post workout snacks HERE. I love these little guys. I think these are even better than the first ones I made!!

Chocolate Energy Bites

Servings: 12 energy bites

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 3 dates
  • 1/2 cup Almond butter
  • 5 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 scoops collagen
  • 6 tbsp water

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend well
  2. Form mixture into 12 bite-sized energy bites

- 12 grams of protein and 20 grams of carbohydrates and 280 calories for TWO bites. Perfect for a post workout. Not sure about post-workout snacks? Check it out on the blog .
