Strawberry Steelcut Oats

Oats are easy for me in the mornings and generally always sound good. Maybe it's the sweetness of the fruit in the morning, maybe it's the warmth, who knows. And I try to always use steel cut oats when I can because they're much higher in fiber and protein that old fashioned oats. Why not kick it up a notch? 



- 1/2 cup steel cut oats

- 1/4 cup of milk of choice

- 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced

- 3 tbsp walnuts

- dash of cinnamon



1. Make steel cut oats as instructed on package, generally a 3:1 water to oat ratio.

2. Top with a dash of milk, cinnamon, strawberries, and walnuts.
