Almond Pound Cake

Servings: 8-10 servings


  • 1 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease your loaf pan, or line with parchment paper
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar with an electric mixer
  3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside
  4. Mix together the milk and almond extract in a cup and set aside
  5. Add the eggs to the butter and sugar mixture
  6. Once eggs are incorporated, alternate adding the dry and wet mixtures
  7. Place the batter in your loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick can be removed cleanly
