Soft and Chewy Pumpkin Bread

Servings: 8-10 slices


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 15-ounce can of pumpkin purée
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine sugar and butter and beat in a mixer until smooth
  3. Add eggs and pumpkin puree and mix until smooth
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cinnamon, flour, and baking powder and stir until mixed together
  5. Slowly add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix until combined, but do not over mix
  6. Place the mixture into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the bread with only loose crumbs on it when tested
