Strawberry Steelcut Oats
Oats are easy for me in the mornings and generally always sound good. Maybe it's the sweetness of the fruit in the morning, maybe it's the warmth, who knows. And I try to always use steel cut oats when I can because they're much higher in fiber and protein that old fashioned oats. Why not kick it up a notch?
- 1/2 cup steel cut oats
- 2 cups coconut milk (or desired milk)
- 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
- 3 tbsp walnuts
- dash of cinnamon
1. Make steel cut oats as instructed on packed, but with coconut (or any kind of) milk
2. Top with cinnamon, strawberries, and walnuts.
