Ashwagandha Energy Bites

Just another COOL project I got to do with American Botanical Council during my time with them. Ashwagandha is a pretty hot health topic lately and I wanted to know more - knowledge is power, ppl. Blog post coming soon on the crazy benefits of this plant! 

** Food processor required here 

 

Ingredients:

- 1 cup shredded coconut, no sugar added

- 1 cup almond butter

- 1 1/2 cup almonds

- 20 grams cocoa powder

- 35 grams ashwagandha powder

- 3 tbsp honey

- 4 tsp ghee, more for a less dry energy bite

- 2 tsp cinnamon

 

Instructions:

1. Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth

2. Roll into 24 bites (very specific, medicinal dose) 

3. Enjoy 2 energy bites/day for benefits (3 grams/day of ashwagandha)
