Chocolate Energy Bites

Another optimal carb:protein ratio post-workout snack! I love these little guys. I think these are even better than the first ones I made!!

 

Ingredients:

1/4 cup oats

3 dates

1/2 cup Almond butter 

5 tbsp flax seeds

1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

4 tbsp cocoa powder

2 scoops collagen 

6 tbsp water

 

Instructions:

1) Combine all ingredients into a food processor

2) Form 12 bite-sized balls. 

 

- 12 grams of protein and 20 grams of carbohydrates and 280 calories for TWO bites. Perfect for a post workout. Not sure about post-workout snacks? Check it out on the blog .
